International MBA students in Montreal to battle over cases and make a difference

MONTREAL, Dec. 22

Over 230 participants in city to compete and contribute to a worthy cause

MONTREAL, Dec. 22 /CNW Telbec/ ‚Äì From January 3 to 8 2011, the John Molson School of Business MBA International Case Competition, organized by Concordia University students, will celebrate its 30th anniversary and welcome hundreds of students from 36 universities from around the world at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel (900 René-Lévesque Blvd. W).

Throughout the week, teams will have three hours to read, analyze and develop an innovative solution to a business case. Using acetates and projectors, teams will battle it out to see who can best demonstrate their business acumen when presenting their solutions to a panel of judges recruited from top Montreal corporations. The winning team takes home the Concordia Cup, a cheque for $10,000 and the prestige of winning the world’s oldest and largest business competition.
