The Party Suite!!

Location: Hospitality Suite (Room 2016), Queen Elizabeth Hotel
The Hospitality Suite is the place to relax and have some fun with your fellow participants during the evenings of the competition. A lot of your fondest memories of the competition will take place here, so we have decided to extend our hours! As always, we will have some friendly bartenders to make sure you have a great time.

Sunday, January 6th

Montreal City Chase

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hotel Lobby
Time: Two departure times, 12 PM & 2 PM
Duration: 2 hours
Invitees: Participants only
Start off the competition with an exciting city chase through Montreal. Race your way around the city solving clues while seeing the sites. This scavenger hunt will be a great way for participants to kick-off the competition by working on team building and strategy while getting to know the city of Montreal. The winning team will be announced at the Opening Ceremony. Will your team be participating in the City Chase? (Only students, no coaches please)

Opening Ceremony

Location: Marquette, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 5 PM – 6 PM
Invitees: Coaches, participants & special guests
Dress code: Business Formal
Join us in the Marquette Room to officially welcome everyone to the competition. Last year's winning team will return the Concordia Cup, the winners of the City Chase will be announced and those vital six Divisions will be announced.

Meet & Greet Cocktail

Location: St. Francois Suite, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 7PM – 9PM
Invitees: Coaches & participants
Dress code: Business Formal
After the Opening Ceremony come spend an evening at the St. Francois room getting to know your fellow participants. Enjoy a traditional “wine & cheese” while listening to a live jazz band in this beautiful Ballroom.
Special Instructions: Only cheese will be provided, please plan a meal afterwards.

Monday, January 7th

Winter Party @ the Museum

Location: McCord Museum, 690 Sherbrooke W. Montreal (website)
Time: 7 PM – 11 PM
Invitees: Coaches & participants
Dress code: Casual
Enjoy a winter party (don't worry, we promise we'll turn the heating on!) inside one of Montreal's most beautiful museums, which we have all to ourselves. Ice sculptures, fur hats & some perfect winter drinks will be featured. Enjoy some canapés along with your drinks while dancing to the sounds of a great DJ. Feel free to head upstairs to check out fascinating exhibits.
Special instructions: You'll need your energy for the party so make sure you get a good meal beforehand, canapés are only finger food to go along with the drinks. Also, our volunteers will show you the way from the hotel to the Museum.

Wednesday, January 9th

Networking Cocktail

Location: Grand Salon, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 5 PM – 7 PM
Invitees: Coaches, participants, sponsors, judges
Dress code: Business Formal
Expand your network! In addition to getting to know your fellow competitors, you'll get to mingle with some judges and representatives from sponsoring companies. This is a great chance to get to know the who's who of the Montreal business community.

Karaoke Night

Location: Hospitality Suite (Room 2016), Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 8 PM – 1 AM
Invitees: Participants, coaches & lead volunteers
Dress code: Casual
Enjoy a relaxed evening with your colleagues in the Hospitality Suite over a couple of drinks (an integral part of the karaoke experience!). Make sure you get some time on our state-of-the-art karaoke machine provided by TouchTunes, you'll need the practice for the huge theme party the next night!
Special Instructions: No food will be provided.

Thursday, January 10th

Superhero Theme Party

Location: Marquette-Joliette, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 10 PM – 3 AM
Invitees: Participants, coaches & lead volunteers
Dress code: Put on your Supersuit, no mild mannered alter egos allowed!
We will be announcing the three finalists tonight! Once those teams are safely tucked into bed, it's time to really cut lose, you deserve it! Get your best superhero costume on (phone booths will not be provided) for a night of dancing and singing. In addition to a second karaoke machine provided by TouchTunes, a super DJ (get it!?) will be there to help us dance the night away. We have a few other surprises in store so, like any good superhero, be prepared for anything! And remember with great power comes great responsibility.
Special Instructions: Drinks served by the hotel are limited in the Marquette-Joliette, so after grabbing a quick bite for supper, be sure to join us in the hospitality suite for some pre-party drinks. The suite will close for the beginning of the theme party and reopen later on during the night.

Friday, January 11th

Final Banquet

Location: Le Grand Salon, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel
Time: 7 PM – 10 PM

Dress code: Formal/Business Formal
This is wrap-up to a memorable week with a delicious banquet. Awards will be handed out and the organizers will give their thanks and farewells… and the small formality of announcing our WINNERS! This will be a wonderful way to complete what is sure to be an unforgettable experience for all!
