About the MBA International Case Competition
n
The John Molson MBA International Case Competition (MBA ICC) is the oldest, largest and most-respected international case competition in the world.
n
Each year, in early January, top MBA students from universities around the world come to Montreal to compete in this six-day, student-run competition. u00a0Selected members of the JMSB MBA student body partake in this unique opportunity, showcasing their talent by putting the theories and concepts learned in class to the test in a fast-paced, competitive problem-solving exercise that thoroughly challenges studentsu2019 knowledge-base and communication skills.
n
The MBA ICC puts students in contact with corporate executives and MBA candidates from around the globe. The competition is organized by au00a0team of John Molson MBA students, operating under the supervision of an academic advisor and an advisory board composed of CEOs, presidents, chairmen and vice-presidents of major multinational corporations. Raising funds, securing sponsorships, organizing the judges, recruiting international business schools and acquiring original cases for the competition are part of organizers responsibilities.
n
These activities enhance each organizing studentu2019s academic and business experiences. Organizing the MBA ICC is a fantastic way to sharpen your skills and receive course credits in a non-academic environment. Very few MBA programs offer students such an opportunity to gain practical experience, while making so many contacts in the business community.
n
There are numerous ways to get involved in the competition. As a John Molson MBA student, you can compete or become a volunteer. Or just come to watch and show your support!
nThis 2017 competition will take place from January 1 to 7, 2017
